The main business line of the company includes the road haulage. The vehicle fleet of CHEDOS counts over 60 trucks of different types, dimensions and carrying capacity. The main car makes are SCANIA and VOLVO. The size of vehicle fleet ranks our company among the biggest transportation companies in Slovakia.
The Forwarding Department is responsible for the optimisation of transport operations. They use their own vehicle fleet, but also external haulage contractors. They attend to all requirements of our clients in a complex way. The largest and the most important market for Chedos are the countries of the European Union. Of equal importance, however, are also the countries of the former USSR, but also the Baltic states and the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
Chedos, a.s. also provides customs declaration. Their office is in the close vicinity of the Customs Office, Poprad. They offer customs debt guarantee in various customs regimes and administrative works in filing customs entries.
The Rail Transportation Dept. offers handling, transportation and logistics services within the industrial area of the Chemosvit Group. They operate a factory railway, perform the loading and unloading of railway cars. The section is prepared to meet requirements from any client that need to transport their goods using railroads.
The Fiat Section is in charge of service cars and selling spare parts of Fiat. The car repair service shop is equipped with the latest diagnostic and service technology. In addition to Fiat and Alfa Romeo, they are able to diagnose and repair all other car makes.
