Briefly from the company history
The company’s origin dates back to 1934, when the BATA company founded the business in Svit. In compliance with the Bata’s entrepreneurial philosophy “Make yourself all you can”, a separate transportation company was established that later became a Transportation Department of the state enterprise Chemosvit. This Department was in charge of safeguarding personal car transportation, freight haulage and railroad transport.
Chronology of founding the CHEDOS company and significant breakthrougs in their history
August 30th, 1993 - establishment of CHEDOS Ltd.
March 1st, 1994 – economic lease of vehicles from the state enterprise Chemosvit and starting the business with leased property
June 1st, 1995 – the first company-owned vehicle (Volvo FH12);
by 1997, purchase of 15 trailer trucks of Volvo and Scania make, meeting EURO 2 Standards
October 1st, 1997 – purchase of the area, parking lot and business premises; sales and service of Fiat cars
March 18th, 1998 – certification in Quality Management System to ISO 9002, as the first Slovak transportation company
April 1st, 2004 – establishment of a subsidiary company Chedos Lutsk in the Ukraine
July 1st, 2006 – transformation into a joint-stock company
